November 2024 Idun Township Board Opportunities

Two supervisor positions and the treasurer position will be on the ballot in November 2024.  If you are interested in being elected to the town board and an Idun Townshp resident, we encourage you to attend a board meeting and/or contact the clerk and ask questions.  If you are interested in filing for one of the positions, contact the clerk between July 30-August 13 at 5 pm to be on the November 2024 ballot.

Idun Township Voter Information

If you are registered voter in Idun Township, you will automatically receive your ballot in the mail around 3-4 weeks before the election. If you do not receive a ballot, make sure you are a registered voter – check your status here, or contact the Aitkin County Auditor’s Office.
Once you have received your ballot, you will vote and return it in one of two ways:

  1. In the postage prepaid envelope provided – your ballot must arrive at the Auditor's Office on or before Election Day.
  2. Drop off at the Auditor’s office, where a ballot drop box will be provided - your ballot must be dropped off on or before Election Day.

Absentee Voting

To request an absentee ballot, apply online here, download your application here, or contact the Aitkin County Auditor’s Office for an application. Return the form to the Aitkin County Auditor’s Office before Election Day. (Applications cannot be accepted on Election Day). When you receive your absentee ballot, you will vote and return it in one of two ways:

  1. In the postage prepaid envelope provided – must be received by mail on or before election day.
  2. Drop off at the Auditor’s office, where a ballot drop box will be provided. Must be dropped off on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
